PRESIDENTIAL DECREE:President Paul Biya appoint Mr.Moh SYLVESTER Tagongho,as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Deposit and Consignment Fund, CDEC.
In conformity with Law number 2008/003 of 14th April 2008 governing deposits and consignment, the President of the Republic has today signs decree appointing Mr Moh SYLVESTER Tagongho,as Chairman of the board of Directors of the Deposit and Consignment Fund, (CDEC) and Mr .Obam Evina Richard, as Director General.
For those who do not know what CDEC is ,it is an organisation created by decree number 2011/401 of 09 December 2011 amended and supplemented by decree number 2018/190 of 2nd of March 2018 meant to boost and finance major economic projects.

If the Institution sounds new to many,it is worth indicating that it has been on paper since (12) twelve years,created as an autonomous special purpose financial Institution which shall operate under the Ministry of Finance ..If the presidential decree of this friday 20th January 2023 took note of national integration by appointing two sons of the nation from the South and North West region,it is important to indicate that CDEC will safeguard finances and create jobs..
Mr Obam Evina Richard is the present General Manager of the National Sinking Fund,CAA, he is one of those credible intellectuals that Cameroon Can boost of. He has given the National Sinking Fund the values and credibility that many are proud of,while the newly appointed board chair is a seasoned financial expert who has proven his competences beyond national level,holds a key position at the Ministry of Finance,a man of very few words. His experience in the field of financial management speaks volume..
