Cameroon and African Development Bank (Afdb) have concluded a financial deal of 106 billions CFAF for the construction of Kumbo,Ndu strecth road..

The ring road project has been one of government’s priority in the Anglophone regions and more particularly, the North West region.

The African Development Bank (AFDB) have finally allocated the sum of 106 billions Fcfa to commence the construction of the long waiting ring road which involve the stretches Of Ndop,Kumbo,Ndu and Nkambe..The local representative of AFDB revealed that the sum allocated is just a partial funding which would help to begin work along the Kumbo,Ndu stretch as the first phase..

Eventhough the peace and reconstruction  commission of the crisis stricken regions is yet to make visible field stride,it should be noted that the government is making several efforts to upgrade the infrastructural situation of the Anglophone regions in general, and the North West ,in particular.

The questions on all lips now is to know how possible the construction of the Kumbo-Ndu strecth will be possible as seperatists fighters continue to cause havoc in those areas..Would the population collaborate with the government for this project to see the light of the day?

One of the fundamental problem of the Anglophone crisis has been the lack of proper social amenities, and one of the agreement reached at,during the National dialogue was the infrastructural conditions of the crisis zones.

Worthy to note is that, the construction of the Ndop,Kumbo,Ndu to Nkambe road is not only going to help inhabitants go in and out of those areas with cease,it will also help boost the economic situation of those areas due to the proximity with Nigeria ..

If the town of Nkambe have relatively been calm during the present crisis, it is important to indicate that Ndu and Kumbo has not been same..

The Anglophone crisis that started as a normal demonstration and later turned into full scale war,has so far claimed the lives of morethan three thousands people with several thousands  of internally displaced as well as several refugees in the Neibouring countries ..
